<p>These lightweight shell pants are made for demanding alpine climbing but work perfectly for all-season mountaineering adventures, both with or without skis and crampons.</p> <p>We use the GORE-TEX&reg; PRO fabric 70 denier because it is the world-leading environmentally responsible membrane for durable waterproofness, optimized breathability and total windproofness.</p> <p>The GORE-TEX ePE (expanded polyethylene) membrane is a key milestone in the responsible performance journey, providing high-performing, durable products that are engineered for long product life.</p> <p>The GORE‑TEX ePE membrane is light and thin, yet strong, and it's PFAS free (under 50ppm) with a reduced carbon footprint. To form new GORE‑TEX products, the membrane is combined with carefully selected textiles, including recycled ones.</p> <p>These pants feature a developed inner leg reinforcement made from a Nylon/Vectran mix.</p> <p>Key features include a functional ⅘ side two-way zipper for good venting options, a Custom-fit waist system, two zippered thigh pockets, adjustable ankle width, a bootlace hook, and eyelets if you want to fasten a cord around the boot to make sure it stays in place.</p> <p>The pants are suspender and bib compatible.</p> <p>The pants have a technical fit with articulated knees and an ergonomic S-shape to improve mobility during vertical movement and decrease excess. In addition, the bottom legs can be expanded to fit ski touring boots.</p>
